Check out this video of Ethan jammin’ on the Djembe with Daddy. My favorite part is around (2:15) after he gets warmed up a bit, when he throws a few double beats and starts doing the hand slide across the drum face, he’s a natural… A little percussionist in the making, training him up early.

The kid’s a natural. Now I know what to get him for his second birthday — a drum set! He probably would do even better if he had an audiance there to cheer him on.
