Images of India (Photos and Video Slideshow)

I posted a video from my trip to Bihar, India, a while back, from this past November (Walking through Bihar) and have finally got around to narrowing down some pics to share. I have also put together a low and high resolution video slideshow with some background audio by Ravi Shankar. Enjoy!

Ethan on St. Patty’s Day (Photos)

This past week was Ethan’s first St. Patty’s Day and he welcomed it in style. While picking up some food at one of our favorite restaurant spots, they were passing out green glittery hats for St. Patty’s Day, so I decided to pick a few up on my way out and bring them home. Ethan had a ball playing with them and celebrating his Irish heritage.

Ethan 6 Month Pictures (Photos)

Hot off the presses, Ethan’s 6 month pictures. They were taken by our family photographer, Brandy Cunningham. Brandy and her husband David have been dear friends of ours since 2004, and they are such a neat and talented family. We actually met them at a friend’s weddings in Bloomington, and they were the photographers for it. Since that first encounter, they have since moved to Indianapolis and it’s been such a blessing to be in community and share life with them and be spoiled by such amazing photography. If you live in the Indianapolis area, we highly recommend Brandy. She shot our engagement pictures, wedding, our family pics, and some great sessions with Ethan,..She does weddings, family shoots, children,.. You can contact her at her Web site: http://www.brandycunninghamphotography.com/ (When going to her site, check out her blog, and you can search “Ethan”. There’s a couple of great posts from her sessions with him)

The Story of Stuff (Video)

Check out this video that sheds some light on our consumption patterns here in the West, pretty eye opening.. ic_video.gif http://www.storyofstuff.com/ (20:40)

Summary of the video from their site: ”From its extraction through sale, use and disposal, all the stuff in our lives affects communities at home and abroad, yet most of this is hidden from view. The Story of Stuff is a 20-minute, fast-paced, fact-filled look at the underside of our production and consumption patterns. The Story of Stuff exposes the connections between a huge number of environmental and social issues, and calls us together to create a more sustainable and just world.
