Indy Storm Aftermath
Last night was quite the adventure on the Hurry home front. We were hosting our House Church/Bible Study group and unbeknownst to us, there was this huge storm coming through the area and it ended up knocking out the power in our house and we spent the evening under flashlight and candlelight (which was kind of nice, bringing it back to the old school) The aftermath of this storm ended up knocking over trees, smashing cars, downing power lines, trash cans and debris covering the streets, hail onslaught, this huge mammoth tree blocking one end of our street,… Looked like a war zone when we went outside this morning. See these pictures and video, crazy:

Freezing in Indy
Hello all. As I write, it is 5 degrees in Indy right now, so very cold here this weekend. The Hurry family is doing well. Bridget’s Dad’s in town this week, so hanging out having some good family time. Hard to believe, but Ethan is 6 months old now! He’s battling a cold, so if you can, throw up some prayers of health for our little dude. Breaks our hearts to hear his little cough.

Walking through Bihar, India
This past November, I had the opportunity to travel to India with a team from our church to help out at a pastor’s conference and also work with orphans there. I’m still narrowing down pics and video from the trip and will post more, but wanted to share a 5 min. clip of a walk through downtown where we were, to get a glimpse of what it was like.

Here’s a link to a great Dr. Martin Luther King video clip on Serving: (It’s an excerpt from one of his speeches set to music, really cool…)
